How do you start a post or composition? I used to try to make the words or sentences I put down almost exactly what they would be finally. However, that makes the process very anoying, even like suffering. You can not think freely, you always worry if you are writing the satisfying content, and at the end of course you do not.

So I decide to adopt another way of writing, brainstorm, modification. But the difficulty is you have to believe it really works, that is to say, you have to drive away all the thought in your mind that you have to write the good content right away. I neglected the chance of modification in the past, and to be honest, I am not used to doing that.

Why I like House?

Why I like House?
Because I like the man House.
Why?
Because you will like someone who is similar to you in some aspects, though in fact he may not be like you at all. It is all about how you think of it, not the fact.
What makes you think you are like him in some aspects? Perhaps it is the vanity that drive you think that way.
It is his kind of sense of humor and why he wanna make all those jokes, not mainly for fun, his strong need of being special., his wit, and his philosophy.
I can not completely deny the possibility that it is the vanity who talks, I do not know that very clearly. What I do know is only vanity can not make the passion last so long.

Textbooks or original materials

I like reading some well-known textbooks on the fields I am intereted in in that it is based on some serious scientific research and its credibility is assured by the eminent authors of those books, in other words, it is one credible source of knowledge you need.

However I recently realize that the spark, the inspiration, and the completeness of the thought presented in the original materials are seriously damaged in the textbooks after they have been accomodated in the those books, at least they are not so impressive as they used to be, which I suppose may be the most important. Some great ones can also do that, but given the fact that the textbooks have to consider the balance among different disciplines and follow some “textbook patterns” to meet the need of ordinary people, it is almost a collection of dry and boring fact.

My idea here is trying to find the principles in the works of the guru, then putting them into practice to test them, only in that way you will learn. It is a process of rediscovering the truth. And the frame will becoming more and more detailed. You should never expect that you have all the tools prepared to handle the problem.

Being sensitive is more than having some kind of ability, it is partly about the attitude whether you are willing to spend your time and energy doing some thinking on the intereting things. Of course you can say that can also be seen as sort of hunch, but my point here is it is not only about if you can, but also about if you want.

Obviously, you have to own some effective ways of identifying which might be the most valuable among the huge amount of thinking work or say setting some sort of priority in case you are drowned in the ocean of the thinking.

Ending Lines from DH ep23,24 s2

If I could, would I tell them what lies ahead?
Would I warn them of the sorrow and betrayal that lie in store?
No.
From where I stand now,
I see enough of the road to understand how it must be traveled.
The trick is to keep moving forward,
to let go of the fear and the regret that slow us down
and keep us from enjoying a journey that will be over too soon.
Yes, there will be unexpected bends in the road,
shocking surprises we didn’t see coming,
but that’s really the point…
